Job Details
The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado seeks faculty candidates for a position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include providing health care services at the Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Addiction Medicine and must have an interest in teaching of residents and/or fellows. Applicants must have an MD, DO degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
OPPORTUNITY
- Successful candidates will be responsible for establishing an academic clinical practice in Addiction and hold a primary appointment in the Department of Family Medicine
- Engagement in other academic pursuits may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research
- Ability to provide a full scope of integrated inpatient, residential, and Addiction Medicine
- This position is full-time
- Teaching responsibilities will include teaching of students, residents, and fellows in clinic, and mentorship of residents and fellows
- 22 Vacation days plus 10 paid holidays and 15 sick days
- Retirement plan adds 10% of salary to 401a - immediately vested
- CME - Department pays for one to two trips per year plus additional expenses for journals, licenses, memberships, and more
