Managing Physician - Geriatric or Primary Care Physician

JenCare, a member of the ChenMed Family of Companies, is seeking an extraordinary primary care physician or geriatrician to serve as a Managing Physician in the Valley Station Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

As a Managing Physician, you will play a central role in advancing the state of senior care within an exciting model of value-based care that delivers superior outcomes - like 38 percent fewer sick days and non-elective hospitalizations. 

In this role, you can realize and maximize your potential as both a clinician serving a panel of 450 patients and a leader overseeing members of a comprehensive Care Team. You will lead a team of talented and dedicated providers, who are focused on caring for patients with complex cases. You can be innovative and lead personalized care plans for your patients and the Care Teams in Louisville to ensure patient management strategies are successfully optimizing each patient’s health. 

The successful candidate should be an accomplished clinician with an eagerness to continually hone his or her skills while advancing the practice of outcomes-based medicine. You should be dedicated to and accountable for the care that you deliver to your patients and to the teams you lead. You should be an agent of change who seeks to be part of a model that values and rewards quality care, not RVUs. 

This opportunity calls for an exceptional clinician, and as such, offers an exceptional starting base salary of $225K–$250K (commensurate with experience) as well as a $50K–$100K relocation/sign-on bonus, options for loan repayment, competitive benefits with profit sharing and bonus potential, and a one-year path to partnership.
