An established facility in Michigan is currently in search of an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens assistance. Covering physician must be organized, comfortable moving patient quickly, and be able to use EMR for charting. Assignment schedule is 12 hours shifts, day night and swing, and the ER will see 23,000 patients per year on average. Physician must be board certified in emergency medicine and have a current MI license. Assignment requirements include intubations and starting lines. Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need. They also visit patients in remote locations and rural farm communities whose access to doctors would otherwise be infrequent at best.
