A Maine facility is in need of a locum tenens emergency medicine physician to assist with their growing program while they recruit a permanent provider. 7 shifts are available each month, and shift times are 7:00am to 3:00pm, 10:00am to 8:00pm, and 3:00pm to 11:00pm. The ER will see an average of 24,000 patients annually. Ideal physician will be board certified in emergency medicine. Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need. They also visit patients in remote locations and rural farm communities whose access to doctors would otherwise be infrequent at best.
