Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is looking for a Board Certified General Surgeon in Pennsylvania.   
This progressive multi specialty group  that is affiliated with a hospital needs a General Surgeon for locum tenens (LT) coverage ASAP and ongoing for bread & butter general surgery.   Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernias, breast and bowel work. No OB/C-sections. They are staffing both weekdays and weekends.  Weekends:  Consist of  24 hour practice coverage and ER call.  It includes hospital rounding, consultation and emergency surgeries, (Gall bladders, hernias, etc.) Week days:  8 hour clinic and hospital rounding. Overnight call.  We will look for Dr’s who can cover full weeks or partial weeks and weekends. Credentialing takes 2-3 weeks. 
More than half the population is adult patients. EMR platform is GE Centricity which is fully integrated with the hospital system.
