We are helping an established facility in Washington that is currently in search of a primary care provider for locum tenens assistance. As the covering physician, you should be comfortable with newborn to geriatrics in a 100% outpatient setting. Covering physician will have to transfer some cases to a larger inpatient facility. Your schedule will be clinic coverage, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with call 1 week per month, and you will see 16-20 patients per day on average. You should be board certified or board eligible in family medicine and have your BLS, ACLS & PALS. This assignment requires proficiency in EMR charting. It is preferred that you have a current WA license, but this government facility can accept any state license. Indian Health Service and tribal healthcare facilities provide a comprehensive health service delivery system for approximately 2.1 million American Indians and Alaska Natives, most of whom live on or near reservations and in rural communities. This government facility accepts your current license, regardless of the location of the facility.
