The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University seeks a full-time Infectious Disease physician at the rank of non-tenure-eligible Assistant Professor on the clinician-educator career track. The successful candidate will help advance the Transplant and Immunocompromised Host Infectious Diseases Service in the evaluation and management of infectious complications prior to and following solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The candidate will also contribute toward graduate education in the Division, attend on the other inpatient ID consult services if appropriate for the physician’s interest, and see patients in the outpatient Infectious Diseases clinic. There could be potential in the future to lead investigator-initiated clinical research studies, for those qualified. Dedicated training or demonstrated experience in the care of infectious complications in solid organ or stem cell transplant recipients is necessary, as is a substantial commitment of effort to caring for such patients. Qualified candidates will hold a medical degree and be board certified in infectious diseases. Salary is commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable. The position will remain open until filled.
