The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an MD degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Applicants must be ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible/certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, and board/certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation.
The successful applicants will join a team of cardiologists and CT surgeons in Penn’s nationally recognized heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation program, will attend on the inpatient heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and will practice in the Penn Heart and Vascular Center. He or she will teach and supervise medical students, residents and Cardiology fellows. Research and leadership opportunities are available depending on experience and interest. Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
