MDA is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon starting Oct. 31 for up to 3 months to fill an upcoming vacancy. This position calls for 4 ½ days of scheduled work plus call.  Locums Orthopedic Surgeon will be scheduled for 2 ½ days of clinic work and 2 days of OR work per week.  Surgery volume will vary between 2 to 4 cases per day; OR procedures include: all joints, shoulders, knees, currently no hands are being done.   No spines are done at this facility because there is no recovery program in place.  During clinic days volume is between 25 to 30 patients per day.

Orthopedic surgeon shares a clinic with General Surgeon, Otolaryngologist, Cardiologists, Podiatrists and Occupational Health.  Flexibility in required call duties; approximately 10 to 12 calls per month.
The community is located in the Tri-Cities Region in Southeastern WA alongside the Columbia River.
