Amazing Urgent Care Opportunity in Gorgeous South Carolina!

Medical Doctor Associates is offering an wonderful new Urgent Care Opportunity in South Carolina!  The weather is amazing this time of year in to the cooler months, and this location offers a historic backdrop for sightseeing options before or after work.  MDA is seeking talented and eager physicians who are willing to take on Urgent Care work with our client in a walk-in setting.  Local physicians are preferred, but those who require lodging will also be considered.  Please review details below and then send your CV and availability ahead.  

Requirements:  Candidates should be board certified in either urgent care or family medicine with a current SC license.

Patients Per day: Both locations see an average of 50-60 patients daily during weekdays and 30-40 on weekends. Approximately 10% of the patients are pediatric. Clemson's schedule is a weekly rotating shift. One week mornings 8-4 the next week evenings 1-8 with one weekend a month. Therefore, there is overlapping coverage from 1-4 during the weekdays.

Types of Cases:  We see a wide variety of symptoms from sprains, strains, and broken bones to colds and the flu. The  location is approx 30 minutes from the main hospital.  This location  can tend to see a bit more complicated visits. However, any hospital level visits would be transferred to the closest hospital via ambulance (ie: chest pain and allergic reactions; once triaged and stabilized)

EMR and Facility Details:  The EMR used at both locations is Allscripts Enterprise. We also have lab and radiology services onsite.

 

Schedule:   Monday-Friday  8am-8pm,

                        Saturday 10am-6pm

                         Sunday 1pm-6pm
