A Tennessee facility needs a locum tenens internal medicine or family medicine physician. Assignment schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with no call, and the physician will see 11 to 12 patients per day on average. You'll need to be board certified and have chronic disease management for at least 1 year. Veterans Administration hospitals and Department of Defense facilities provide ongoing medical care for service members, retirees, veterans, and their families. Working locum tenens in these facilities provides great opportunities during your career. You need only one state license to work in many locations in the country, and you do not have to be a member of the military.
