Psychiatrist Opportunity - Yale Affiliate

Our client is one of the largest Behavioral Health Center in the region with more than 23,000 outpatient visits per year. There are several openings for a psychiatry physicians. These openings are due to expansion and physicians retiring. This is a teaching hospital for Yale University School of Medicine with a state-of-the-art technology and full line of services featuring world class clinicians, nurses and support staff. The Psychiatrist will take an active and collaborative role in the overall direction and supervision of medical activities and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: medication management, patient evaluation and other direct patient-care activities. Also the Psychiatrist is responsible for utilization review, strategic planning, supervision of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, accreditation readiness, public relations and quality improvement.
