A Barton Associates client located in Washington State is looking for an internal medicine physician who is available for three months of outpatient locum tenens coverage. This job will require the locum to see 20 - 25 patients per day who require preventative care or annual visits. Typical cases seen will be hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, COPD, chronic illness, or stroke related. To be successful on this assignment the locum should be comfortable with suturing, biopsies, casting, incisions, draining, and occasional wart freezing. On this job the locum will be assisted by two other physicians, and multiple medical assistants. The average age of patients seen at this facility is between 40 and 70. Candidates must be board certified to be considered for this position. Responsibilities Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
