A central Illinois Anesthesia group has an immediate coverage need!  This locums position has generous compensation, a great schedule, and is in a gorgeous location.  Partnering with Medical Doctor Associates for this position will put you one step closer to achieving your financial and professional goals.  Please take a look at the details below.

Start date will be Sept. 6th ongoing until 2017, or when perm candidate is found. Candidates should be Illinois licensed anesthesiologists with no medical malpractice history and little locums experience,if possible. Candidates will need to be board certified or truly board eligible - less than 5 years out of residency.  

Details:
7a-3p Bread and Butter cases, No hearts and no heads.

Mostly Ortho cases and some L&D.

Taking call 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Busy OR

The CRNAs run the cases and ANES/MDs do the blocks

Usually have 2 docs onsite + 1 morning doc for post call

Each MD supervises 3-4 CRNAs per day (total of 6-8 on daily_

ANES cover codes

Lot of epidurals

No Peds, No cardiac, Lots of Ortho

EMR - SIS

Facility runs 6 ORs, 2 OB suites, and does endoscopy in outpatient.

Credentialing usually takes 45-60 days. Prime source verify.  Can fast track clean candidates in 30 days
