MDA is currently recruiting for ER physicians to work at ACL hospital in Pueblo of Acoma, NM,  located 60 miles west of Albuquerque.  This village is made up of three Tribes (Sky City, Aomita, and Mcartys).

Physicians will work 8a-8p, and 8p-8a.   There may also be a need to work occasional shifts between 8:30-4:30pm.   Average number of patients seen per day is approximately 40 in the ER.   The busiest dates during the week are Mondays and Fridays.  Emergency/trauma cases are transferred out.   Hospital prefers physicians to work one week on and one week off if possible.  BC in Primary Care Specialty or EM is required as well as ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
