Medical Doctor Associates is looking for a Physician to provide Palliative Care in the beautiful, last frontier of Alaska. This client facility is located 125 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula. This is an opportunity that will begin in early February and will be ongoing for one year.
BLS and DEA required Census about 8 patients per day 80% Geriatrics, 20% adult med, 100% Medicare/Medicaid Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm Call shared between 3 MD's to provide 24/7 coverage by pager/phone only Skilled nursing facility experience preferred Chronic advanced disease mgmt., end-of-life care, rehab No vents Monday - Friday nursing home admission H&P, discharges, regulatory and acute visits EMR is Epic Phone triage and care conference participationIf you are interested in this position or other short or long-term assignments that we have available, please contact us today for more information.
