Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) needs an Internal Medicine (IM) Hospitalists to moonlight with an existing team and work in a beautiful part of Ohio easily commutable to the Columbus metro area. Located about an hour from Columbus.
 
The Hospitalist team will include 3 day hospitalists and 1 nocturnist. Shifts will be 7a-7p for days and 7p-7a for nights. Daily patient census on days is 15-18. Average number of admissions per night is 5 with a high of 8.  The position will not require proficiency with procedures; however hospitalists should feel comfortable responding to codes and managing vents on occasion.  Hospitalists stabilize any critical patients and transfer them to a tertiary facility.  Candidates must be board certified.  The hospital will only accept Board Eligible candidates if they are less than 5 years out of residency.
