Candidates must be comfortable in an ER setting (suture, handle some trauma, handle acuity, etc.).  This is a pediatric EM/UC within an adult EM.   The high acuity trauma is handled by the Adult EM physician.  The Peds unit is a 5-8 bed unit that is covered primarily by general pediatricians so it is closer to an Urgent Care but located within an Adult EM.  It is a faster pace than a typical Urgent Care facility.  All travel expenses and medical malpractice insurance covered.

October:  8-18 & 29-31  all 3p-1a

November:  4-7 both 9a-9p & 3p-1a
                  11-14 3p-1a
                  22-28 3p-1a
