Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking an Hospitalist Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Missouri. Requirements: Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM).

• The hospitalist is the primary doc each day and does all the admissions and discharges as well as rounds on each patient in the facility.
• We have consulting physicians in pulmonary, ID, Surgeons etc if needed.
• Average 22 census
• 12 hour days 8 to 8 usually covers all the admits
• Hospitalist responds to codes
• Hospitalist does vents, but we do have pulmonary to consult for management if needed
• Facility is an LTACH so the physician will have ICU and med surg patients
• Procedures not required but intubation trained preferred
• Must be Board Certified experienced IM Hospitalist
• Does all admission and discharges no mid levels on staff
