Good Afternoon,

Locums Gastroenterologist needed due to community shortage. Case work is screening and diagnostic Gastroenterology. Strong comfort level with specialty, specifically with procedures and high quality patient care. Experience with procedures within a clinical setting is needed. Looking for an individual who is willing to plug into their team of three physicians and one PA. They are currently recruiting for a full time physician but unexpected events within the GI physician community have left a large number of patients in need of GI care. There will be both work in a clinic setting seeing patients as well as completing procedures at the Endo unit of the Hospital.

Schedule is Mon - Fri 8a - 5p, 12 patients per day, 30% geriatric, 70% adult med. There will be call - not sure on frequency at this time. Support Staff is Clinic - PA, MA's / Endo-nursing, anesthesia

Must be board certified in Gastroenterology, have BLS, ACLS & DEA. Will require hospital privileges and hospital board approval. No new grads.
