Division Chief of Surgery Jobs in Portland, OR

Portland, Oregon - Seeking a board-certified surgeon to act as division chief of surgery for Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Full time position with mix of administrative and clinical. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Candidate should be board-certified in a surgical specialty or anesthesia. Five years of clinical experience and formal leadership required. Division chief will have oversight of PSVMC's medical staff which includes both employed and privileged (private practice) surgeons. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders will be a necessary skill. Other responsibilities will include strategic planning, budgeting and maintaining an operational focus on quality and performance metrics.
