Barton Assocaites has a client in Missouri that is looking for a locum tenens trauma surgeon with critical care credentials preferred. On the job the locum will work a 12 hour night shift and be on-call in-house for 12 hours during the day. The minimum commitment for this assignment is five shifts per month, but the surgeon can choose to work more if they would like to. Candidates should be either board certified or eligible and have an active ATLS certification. On the job the locum will perform five activations per day, perform rounds, manage post-surgical patients, do consultations, perform operative procedures, and other surgeries. The surgeon will be collaborating with another trauma surgeon and a nurse practitioner while on this assignment. The schedule for this assignment will be a 12-hour night shift followed by call coverage for 12 hours during the day.
