Director, Section of Research
The Department of Nephrology and Hypertension in the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute (GUKI) at Cleveland Clinic invites applications for the position of Director of Research. The Director of Research oversees all research activities within the department including ongoing NIH-sponsored clinical trials. The candidate must have demonstrated an ability to initiate original research, secure NIH funding and mentor nephrology fellows. The position requires productive collaboration with other researchers and world-class clinicians. Candidates must have a medical degree.
As part of the Cleveland Clinic, the Dept. of Nephrology and Hypertension has a rich tradition in the study of hypertension, transplantation, chronic dialysis and CRRT. Our research makes use of our extensive databases, EMR and Biobank. Faculty positions in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of CWRU are commensurate with level of experience and academic credentials.
