The Center for Spine Health in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full time, spine neuro-surgeon to join a team of multi-disciplinary providers at our Hillcrest Hospital located in Mayfield Heights.

The applicant must be a BC/BE neurosurgeon who is fellowship trained in spine. Surgical volume consists of spine and cranial cases. The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call (1:3). Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities. The Center for Spine Health is a uniquely integrated department including orthopaedic and neurosurgical trained spine surgeons, medical spine specialists, including rheumatologist, physiatrists, interventionalists, osteopathic physicians, psychologists, advanced practice practitioners and specialty trained nurses. The Center features fellowship programs in both spine surgery and spine medicine, the former of which is the largest in the United States. In addition to a dynamic, collaborative clinical and surgical practice, the position requires the participation in resident and fellow teaching as well as basic, translational, biomechanical and/or clinical research. Clinicians in the Center for Spine Health work closely with other specialists in the Neurological Institute, particularly in the Center for Pain and the Center for Neuroimaging to provide evidence-informed, comprehensive world class spine care.
