Director of Rehabilitation Outcomes Research
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) invites applications for the position of Director of Rehabilitation Outcomes Research. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent research andanalytical skills in the field of patient and provider reported outcomes measurement and the ability to form productive collaborations with world-class clinicians and researchers in our enterprise institutes, departments and centers. Candidates with a doctoral degree and experience in health science, psychometric, or sociological research are encouraged to apply. Applications welcome from MD, PhD or MD PhD candidates. Faculty positions in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine are commensurate with level of experience and academic credentials.
The Department seeks to advance the future of rehabilitative care of persons with disabilities through investigating their problems and training the medical providers that serve them. We strive to gain knowledge from each of our 600,000 rehabilitation patient encounters each year. This program facilitates the collection of discreet patient and provider assessment information into a fully integrated outcomes database.
