The Department of Hospital Medicine at Cleveland Clinic is currently recruiting Board Certified/ Board Eligible physicians.  The department's staff physicians provide inpatient clinical services both in tertiary and local community hospital settings, serve as teaching attendings for resident teams, actively participate in Lerner College of Medicine as faculty, and have vibrant research portfolios in various aspects of clinical medicine and delivery as well as quality of care.
The department is expanding to take advantage of several exciting opportunities in the Cleveland region with the goal of developing a flexible model of care delivery where qualified and energetic individuals will be able to practice medicine in either community or tertiary care environments. Physicians have the opportunity to practice in either day or night programs or in a combination format. Night program is particularly suitable for physicians looking for transitory positions of 1-4 years which provide considerable flexibility for personal reasons or to pursue academic research with the ultimate goal of joining a sub-specialty fellowship program.

For interested candidates, we also offer a 1-2 year fellowship position in Hospital Medicine incorporating further training in research methodologies and in a variety of pathology specific areas such as intensive care, palliative care, and pre-operative medicine.  Graduates have opportunities for leadership positions in various hospital medicine programs around the country.
