Director of Cardiovascular Surgery - Portland, Oregon

The Providence Heart and Vascular Institute in Oregon is seeking an outstanding cardiovascular surgeon and visionary leader to serve as Director of Cardiovascular Surgery. The cardiac surgery program for the Heart and Vascular Institute is located on the Providence St. Vincent campus serving as a regional referral center, and is the single highest volume cardiac surgical service in the area. The program has a long history of clinical excellence and innovation. Well-established structural heart, VAD, and advanced endovascular programs support a robust portfolio of clinical trials and investigative work. In addition to leading a group of cardiac and vascular surgeons, the Director of Cardiovascular Surgery will provide leadership and oversight to dedicated cardiac operating rooms and the cardiac surgical recovery unit. As part of the executive leadership team, the Director will help develop and implement innovative care and growth strategies for the Institute. Protected time will be provided for both administrative and investigative work.
