We are very excited about the affiliation between St. Joseph Medical Center and Texas A & M. The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a physician to provide professional expertise and leadership to support the Family Medicine Residency Program.  This position will direct and oversee the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Family Medicine Residency Program. This physician will serve as the Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program.

The Associate Program Director (APD) of the Family Medicine Residency Program will provide administrative leadership support to the Family Medicine residency support staff and develop, revise, and maintain curriculum. Assist in residents performance improvement plans and disciplinary activities as needed. 


Previous faculty development experience; experience with publications and grant writing skills preferred.


  • MD or DO; ABFM board-certified
  • Current Texas medical licensure
  • A minimum of five years of clinical experience in family medicine, with two years as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited family medicine residency program.
