WORK FOR AN ACoS-APPROVED PROGRAM WITH ACCESS TO FULL RANGE OF CANCER TREATMENT AND SERVICE LINES Our client is a regional cancer center that's recognized as a true community resource offering coordinated, patient-centered approach to caring for people with cancer in Northern New York and Vermont. The team consists of highly skilled, compassionate health care providers work together to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those battling the disease. The facility is equipped with full-range of cancer treatment and access to other services such as surgery, imaging, IV therapy and pastoral Care. This cancer center is currently seeking an individual with experience and expertise in general medical oncology and hematology.    HEM/ONC PHYSICIAN INCENTIVES:

  • Perform inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics

  • The cancer center also Includes a cancer registry, weekly Tumor Boards, bimonthly Lung Conferences, an IRB, and participation in RTOG and other NCI-approved protocols
  • Take on a leadership and participation in quality improvement programs
  • Opportunities exists for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Faculty appointment upon completion of substantial academic activities 
  • Participation to clinical trial to stay up to date on the latest treatment
  • Excellent certified support staff including social worker, a dietitian and the rehabilitation department

  HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology and Oncology Physician
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must demonstrate a record of clinical excellence and capability for working successfully in collaborations, commensurate with career stage.
