Hospitalist Locums Needed in Maine, Ongoing Opportunity - CPH# JOB-2292501

A Maine-based facility is currently seeking a hospitalist to assist with locum tenens coverage. Assignment schedule is 7:30am to 5:30pm, no call, and physician will see 8-16 patients per day with 2-3 admits on average. Covering physician must be board certified or board eligible in IM and have an active and unrestricted ME license or be willing to obtain one. Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need. They also visit patients in remote locations and rural farm communities whose access to doctors would otherwise be infrequent at best.
