The Department of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital is seeking an academic Division Chief to lead the clinical, research, and educational activities for the Division. We seek an accomplished candidate with strong program building and excellent interpersonal skills; a solid academician with a record of scholarship and independent grant-funding; and an experienced leader to support the section's clinical, research, and education efforts. Qualified applicants must have a demonstrated capacity to foster an environment in which excellence in patient care, teaching, research, and scholarship can flourish, as well as the ability to develop and lead a collaborative program that interfaces with other departments (basic and clinical science). The Division has strong basic and clinical research programs in HIV, HCV, transplant, and emerging Infectious Diseases, and operates the largest HIV clinic in the Philadelphia area. A record of innovative and effective administrative leadership, national stature, experience promoting a diverse workforce, and positive interactions with students, faculty, and staff are required.
