Northeast Massachusetts Psychiatry Coverage

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is working with a facility in northeastern Massachusetts which is in need of Psychiatry coverage beginning immediately.

Summary:

• Start date: ASAP 2-3 months with option to extend
• Shift info: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p
• No call, no weekend
• Adult Inpatient coverage
• Admissions/discharges: 0-2 (included in the census)
• Census: 16-18 (will be isolated to one unit, another psych covers the other 16 patients on the unit)
• No consults, no H&Ps
• Providers will share daytime DoC coverage which is a morning or afternoon shift of admissions and emergent situations
• EMR is not fully integrated so combo of that and dictation/notes
• Credentialing process takes 2 weeks
