At MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, an award-winning, 350-bed facility and member of the MedStar Health System, we strongly support graduate medical education and offer several ACGME accredited residencies. Our Internal Medicine Residency Program has 37 residents and a major affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Full-time generalist and specialty core faculty, as well as full-time chief residents, are dedicated to our teaching program and have academic appointments at the medical school. We currently offer this opportunity: Core Faculty, General Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency Program. The faculty member will work closely with the Program Director and Chair of the Department of Medicine to support all facets of the residency-training program, including teaching clinical medicine both in the inpatient and outpatient setting; didactic teaching; mentoring and provision of feedback; and mentoring of scholarly activity. The faculty member will have the opportunity and protected time to pursue specific educational and scholarly activity interests. Our ideal candidate has experience in Internal Medicine graduate medical education as a faculty member and is eligible for Maryland licensure.
