$165K + Bonus - FQHC Seeks Medical Director, Family Medicine Physician - #MED3

Seeking an experienced BC Family Medicine Physician to serve as the leader/director of a relatively new FQHC located in rural Vermont.  Opened in 2013, the clinic is thriving with 13 employees and 2600 unique patients.

• 80% clinical; 20% administration

• 30 new patients each month
• Salary $165K plus 100% paid health insurance, 401K match and life insurance
• 36 paid days off
• Sign on bonus and relocation assistance - $15K

Requires good clinical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high energy, flexible environment.  Must be an excellent team player and able to work effectively with a dynamic, high performance team.  Ability to interact comfortably with people at every socio economic level including individuals who are homeless. The service area encompasses 17 rural communities with a total population of 40,000 with 40% being either underinsured or uninsured.   The town lies in the valley of Vermont between the Taconic Range to the west and the Green Mountains to the east.  Located by prominent peaks such as Grass Mountain, Spruce Peak and Red Mountain.  Incredible trout fishing flows in the center of the town through the river. - Qualified physician and advanced practitioner applications only.
