Associate Medical Director - Primary Care

Adult and Child Health is an innovative not for profit agency which has supported the needs of Central Indiana since 1949. They have experienced remarkable growth in the past four years; presently a $40 million company nearing 600 staff. Adult and Child Health is seeking a progressive Associate Medical Director to provide physician leadership in support of their expansion into integrated primary care.

Adult and Child Health has a heavy focus on supporting the needs of people who experience multiple challenges including mental illness, chronic disease, homelessness, foster care, trauma, and addictions. Adult and Child is dedicated to reducing the dramatic health disparities found in these populations by changing the way we view and treat our patients.

Alongside a passionate, experienced, and entrepreneurial executive team, this position promises an opportunity to co-lead Adult and Child's charge into providing better patient care using patient centered, and evidence based, care models. This position will initially supervise the direct care of two other medical providers; however, the scope of responsibility is expected to increase rapidly to include more locations, more providers, and additional specialties to include pediatrics, OBGYN, Medication Assisted Treatment for addictions, and others.

We are investing in our mission by developing high quality primary care sites in downtown Indianapolis and in the City of Franklin. This position is expected to take a clinical leadership role (25%) as well as provide direct care (75%). A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leadership within a matrixed environment, passion for working with disadvantaged populations, a propensity for working in multi-disciplinary teams, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

We are seeking individual with the following qualities:

• Medical degree from an accredited university/school of medicine
• Five years related experience
• Licensure by the State of Indiana, DEA certification, Eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid
