Salmon, Idaho -- Providence Health & Services is seeking an excellent BE/BC Family Practice or Emergency Medicine trained physician to join our team in rural Idaho. We are looking for a physician to round out our contracted emergency room coverage for a well-respected medical center in Salmon, Idaho (approximately 3 hours south of Missoula, MT). 24- or 48-hour shifts. Up to 5 shifts per month are needed. Flexible schedule with paid travel. No call outside of scheduled shifts. Board certified Family Practice (preferred) or Emergency Medicine with a minimum of three to five years of experience. Current Idaho license preferred. Providence operates two hospitals in Montana, St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula and St. Joseph Medical in Polson, about 65 miles north of Missoula. The care team in Missoula offers outreach services to patients in Idaho and rural western Montana. The Salmon, Idaho, area and western Montana offer spectacular Rocky Mountain living. Salmon is at the foot of the beautiful Beaverhead Mountains, about halfway between Boise and Missoula.
