Hospitalist Physician Jobs in Santa Clarita, CA

Santa Clarita, California - Facey Medical Group is seeking a Hospitalist physician to serve the Santa Clarita Valley, just north of Los Angeles. Base schedule is a four week cycle of 12-hour shifts: one 7-day shift, one 4-day shift, and 3 night shifts. Extra shifts are available if desired and will be paid on an hourly basis. Day coverage is mostly rounding, with admissions divided among the day hospitalists. Night shift is mostly admitting with cross coverage on floor patients. The practice focuses on evidence-based medicine with appropriate utilization of resources and patient-centered care. Hospitalists cover the ICU although pulmonary/critical care consultants control the ventilators and sedation. The hospitalist program has an excellent reputation for providing high quality services.
