Anchorage, Alaska - Providence Medical Group - Alaska is seeking a full-time Geriatrician (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine physician, or fellowship-trained Geriatrician) to join our excellent post-acute and long term care team in Anchorage. The provider team currently includes two full-time nurse practitioners (wound care certified), a Geriatrician, and periodic participation of Family Medicine residents. The team cares for 96 long term care residents and covers a 50-bed post-acute Transitional Care Center. Admissions are anticipated to be 250-400 per year shared between three physicians. In addition to the SNF work, this position has the flexibility to work in our outpatient geriatric clinic as well as UMED primary care. Call coverage is by phone and very manageable.
