Spokane, Washington -Seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to act as the medical director of the Psychiatry department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Full-time position. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. The medical director will be responsible for medical oversight in overall operational, financial and business effectiveness of the department. The PSHMC psychiatric department includes 46 adult beds and 24 child/adolescent beds. In addition, Providence is partnering with Fairfax Behavioral Health to develop a 100-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital in Spokane. This position would provide medical leadership for the new larger facility expected to open in 2018. Successful candidate will have MD/DO degree from an accredited program, will be board certified in Psychiatry with a minimum of five years of practice experience. Management experience preferred, along with strong business acumen relating to operations, finance and decision making.
