Olympia, Washington - Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency is seeking a fulltime faculty physician to join our Family Medicine Residency in beautiful Olympia, Washington. We are an innovative 7-7-7 program that is expand to 9-9-9 with the addition of a 2-2-2 rural training track in Chehalis, 33 miles south of Olympia. We are seeking a physician to practice and teach outpatient family medicine with or without Obstetrics, and inpatient care if desired. Our residency program is affiliated with the University of Washington School Of Medicine and the WWAMI FM Residency Network. We provide full spectrum training including obstetrics and inpatient medicine with an emphasis on practice in underserved communities in any setting. No teaching or clinical experience is required, but the ideal candidate must have a passion for learning and exploring new models of care within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (we are a level III NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home and R&D site within our local Providence Medical Group). Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program is affiliated with Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia and the University of Washington School of Medicine. Close collaboration and program review with other residencies in the UW Residency Network ensure the program maintains high quality instruction and experience. The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association.

Olympia is located on the southern tip of scenic Puget Sound, which offers an abundance of saltwater activities from beachcombing to salmon fishing and sailing.
