NEJMOF_MedstroAs part of our collaboration with Medstro, a physician social networking site, we've invited physicians to share their career experiences with professionals just starting out. We call them "Fascinating Physicians," and each has agreed to answer your questions online for a two-week period.

Fascinating Physician: Dr. Deborah Lindner, week of Feb 10, 2015

Dr. Lindner is answering questions about her career in medicine, including her decision to become a gynecologist with a specialty in phlebology and her work as CMO of Bright Pink. Dr. Lindner has special insight in genomics, personalized medicine, and the questions surrounding them since her personal decision to have a preventive mastectomy at age 33 after testing positive for BRCA1 & seeing her mother fight breast cancer.

Fascinating Physician: Dr. Sachin Jain, week of Jan. 15, 2015

Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA will begin his new role as Chief Medical Officer of CareMore Health System on January 19, 2015. He was previously Chief Medical Information and Innovation Officer (CMIO) at Merck. Dr. Jain is also a Lecturer in Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School and serves as an attending hospitalist physician at the Boston VA-Boston Medical Center.
