Due to continuing expansion and growth, the Department of Radiology at Geisinger Health System, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking Radiologists for our practices throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania. We currently have opportunities for highly talented fellowship trained individuals to join our system-wide team of 70+ radiologists. The department is seeking a Cardio Thoraco Imager to work collaboratively and in support of our growing cardiology and vascular service lines, comprised of 46 cardiologists, 8 CT surgeons, 11 CV surgeons and 7 cardiac surgeons. Geisinger is committed to technology and continues to invest in it system-wide. We use a single PACS and single RIS across the system, in addition to voice recognition. The system has five 64-slice scanners, twelve digital mammography units, cardiac CT/MRI, computerized digital X-ray, PET-CT, and an open MRI to complement our other MRI scanners, including a 3 T state-of-the-art magnet.
