Case Western Reserve University, MetroHealth Medical Center -- Nocturnist/Research positions

The Division of Hospital Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center seeks outstanding clinician-educators to join our division for a unique opportunity. We are seeking individuals to provide nocturnist services in our academic medical center who also might be interested in pursuing research opportunities to develop an academic career in an internal medicine subspeciality.

Clinical nocturnist duties involve admissions and cross coverage of a non-teaching medicine service, assisting housestaff when needed, and aiding in ED triage decisions.

The research portion of the position involves coursework in clinical research at Case Western Reserve University, mentorship, and research opportunities in our academic Department of Medicine. Opportunities for research are available in health services research, health disparities, hospital medicine, cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, pulmonology and sleep, rheumatology, oncology, and other disciplines.

Applicants must be BE/BC in internal medicine. Evidence of prior research efforts and excellent teaching ability is strongly desired. H1-B sponsorship available.
