Demonstrated teamwork skills.
Development of skills in scientific written, oral, and electronic communications related to requirements of the position such as manuscript writing and scientific presentations in meetings. Experience in manipulating large-scale genomic data and efficient utilization of computer clusters.Statistical analysis experience using R, SAS, or STATA required and programming in python or perl is desired. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases for the analysis of genetics data.Record of peer-reviewed publications.Highly motivated and committed to biomedical research. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Ph.D. degree in the area of Genetic Epidemiology, Human Genetics, Statistical Genetics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Population Genetics, and/or Bioinformatics or M.D with appropriate research experience required.
