Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV), Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a Director of Trauma Surgery to join a growing acute care surgery team.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy Level II Trauma Center has > 41,000 ED visits per year.  The ED is on the ground floor of the Critical Care Tower which also houses the OR suite with 12 state-of –the art OR’s along with a pre and post op area on the 3rd floor, 24 critical care beds in a mixed medical /surgical ICU on the 4th floor and a 25 bed Progressive Care Unit on the fifth floor in addition to a roof top helipad. GWV, licensed for 297 beds, sees approximately 2,000 trauma visits per year.
