Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital are seeking an academic leader to serve as the chair of the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with an appointment as Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research, and educational activities of the department as well as collaborative activities with the other departments at Harvard Medicine School and its affiliated institutions. Candidates should have an established record as a mentor and as a teacher, national recognition for research accomplishments, and possess exceptional leadership, managerial and collaborative skills. Ideally, she/he would be a proven leader with an international reputation in pediatric oncology who can lead a complex and successful department to even higher levels of excellence.
