Health Administrator - California Benefits:

Description: The Health Administrator provides day to day management of operations for the Public Health Division. Responsibilities will include the planning, organization, administration, review and evaluation of the activities of county and contract staff. The Health Administrator will prepare and direct the preparation and administration of public health budgets for the division and assists in the development of funding sources including the oversight for submission of grant applications. Further responsibilities include the monitoring of changes in laws, regulations, programs and techniques in all functional areas and the effect upon County activities. This position reports directly to the Director of Health and Human Services and works closely with the Health Officer. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an administrative role
  • Strong management experience with demonstrated success in leading organizational change
This position is open until filled with a first review date of September 30, 2015.
