The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) is seeking a Urologist, to join the Surgery Department and practice at John Peter Smith Health Network, the best choice for our county patients.

Qualifications:

  • DO/MD degree from accredited college, an unrestricted Texas Medical license and staff privileges at Hospital
  • Completion of a five-year Urology Residency program and Board Certified in Urology
  • Excellent skills in organization, communication, interpersonal interaction, and collaboration, Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Quality patient care, outpatient and Surgical, as well as after-hours and ED call
  • Over 4,100 clinical visits and 800 surgeries annually
  • Occasional teaching of Family Medicine residents during surgery rotations
  • Clinic is located on our main campus, open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., see 350 patients per month
  • Attending meetings as required
