Required qualifications include formal training and expertise in echocardiography and cardiac CT. Expertise in other noninvasive modalities including cardiac MR and cardiac PET are desirable. Ability to foster excellence in research and education is preferred. Responsibilities include reading noninvasive cardiovascular imaging studies, providing direct patient care, and teaching medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows at the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), the Cardiovascular Institute and the newly opened state-of-the-art DMC Heart Hospital, a nationally recognized cardiovascular center, with accredited noninvasive labs and robust heart and vascular programs. Active EP and structural heart disease programs offer advanced echo opportunities.

Minimum requirements: board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology; excellence in patient care and teaching; and a commitment to scholarly participation.
