Job Details

  Geisinger Health System (GHS) is currently seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist, with expertise in Hematologic Malignancies and Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation, to join its well-established group practice as the Director of Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Care.

 

In addition to both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, the Director will also provide administrative direction for Geisinger’s FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplantation program, as well as the program's approach to leukemia care.  

 

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated expertise and commitment to research, including clinical trials, with experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration and a unique vision to lead both leukemic and stem cell transplantation efforts across the entire health system. In addition, candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency and oncology or hematology/oncology fellowship in the U.S.
